Get your cash and your people pulling in the same direction.
“By the end of 2024, it was clear our turnaround efforts weren’t working...Profit margins grew from 5% to 25%, employee NPS jumped from 50 to 70, and I no longer feel burned out.”
~ Ed Farrell, CEO, Mercury ISS
“What Benn brings is a genuine coaching mindset... It’s more than management, it’s the thing that actually makes a team fire.”
~ Simone Montgomery, COO, Learning Links
I care about your results as much as you do. My promise: if the work doesn't deliver the value you expected, you pay what you feel it was worth. I'd rather earn your trust than chase an invoice.

I start with your cash, then I work with your people.
I've been COO of a global B Corp investment group, and I'm trained in how people really connect. Money is oxygen, it gives you options to help more people. And a plan only works when your people make it happen. My rule is simple: connect before we correct.
Ikigai is a Japanese idea about what makes life feel worth living, and it's the lens I coach through. For many founders and CEOs, that feeling was there at the beginning. Then the pressure of hiring, cash flow and constant decisions quietly buried it. My work is to help you grow without losing the reason it mattered.
I do that through the Scaling Up framework, which I first learnt at Arowana in 2015 and have used ever since, first as a COO and now as a certified coach.

Certified Scaling Up Coach |
Purpose-Driven Strategist
Sound familiar?
Psst. They spill over into life too, right?

We're running out of cash
Revenue's up, but the bank balance isn't.
The team isn't following the plan
Or there isn't one we all agree on.
Everything keeps breaking as we grow
More people, more moving parts, more fires.
Everyone wants more, faster
The board, the funders, the investors. And our funding keeps changing.
I keep repeating myself
I'm the bottleneck. Everything still comes back to me.
I'm not home for dinner
Success means nothing if my family only gets the leftovers.
I'm running on empty
My body's sending signals, and I'm not listening.
But guess what,
smooth scaling is achievable.
I’ve charted that sea.
I’ve got the map.
But guess what,
smooth scaling is achievable.
I’ve charted that sea. I’ve got the map.
Just for one second, imagine...
The cash is there when you need it.
Your team knows the plan and runs it without you chasing.
And you make it home for dinner with your family or friends.
That's what I help CEOs and founders do, whether you built the organisation from scratch or stepped into the chair to take it further.

How I help
Why good organisations get stuck as they grow
Growth does not usually stall because leaders stop caring.
It stalls when complexity rises faster than the business can absorb.
More people. More moving parts. More decisions. More pressure.
The Scaling Up framework helps make that strain visible across four critical areas: People, Strategy, Execution, & Cash.
Ikigai Impact helps purpose-driven leaders bring clarity, alignment, and discipline to each of these areas, so growth strengthens the organisation rather than draining it.
People
The right people in the right seats, and leaders who don't need you in every decision.
Strategy
A plan the whole team can explain, and a few priorities that actually get done.
Cash
Better margins, getting paid faster, and money in the bank to do more good.
Execution
A steady weekly, monthly and quarterly rhythm, so things stop slipping.

“Scaling Up helps us put in place the disciplines critical to building a significant business.”

“Benn kept a sharp focus on deliverables while making sure every decision stayed true to our values and purpose.”
A team that runs the plan.
When everyone knows the plan, you spend less time in meetings and less time repeating yourself.

Decisions you don't second-guess.
A one-page plan and a handful of numbers tell you whether you're on track.

Fewer surprises.
Growth the organisation can carry, without you holding it all together.

Plus a better way of life.
Growth shouldn't cost you everything else.
What if growth didn't cost you your health, your family or your sleep? It shouldn't. I've lived the other way, and I don't recommend it.
More time and headspace.
When things run without you, you get your evenings back.

Respect you've earned.
Lead in a way your team, your board and your family can see.

Impact you're proud of.
More of the good you started this for.

Coaching
One-on-One Coaching to Scale With Purpose
For the CEO who's carrying it all.
A sounding board and a straight-talking thinking partner, in your corner.
Are there any risks?
Of course.
But which risk rewards your future?
Going it alone.
You risk burning out.
Doing this alone is the fastest way to burn out. Why not learn from someone who's been there?
Staying stuck.
You risk what you built.
The biggest risk is standing still while everything around you changes.
Letting stress spill over.
You risk your health.
When stress spills into your health or your home, the organisation isn't winning, whatever the numbers say.
Running without a clear plan.
You risk a wrong turn.
Without a clear plan, it's easy to spend time, energy and money on the wrong things.
Not putting in the work.
You risk nothing changing.
There's no shortcut. You have to be willing to face what's hard, and I'll tell you if we're drifting.
Take action instead of chances.
