Helping business leaders scale with purpose.
Ikigai Impact helps you grow your profit, cash, and impact, without the overwhelm.
As a certified Scaling Up coach and former Chief Operating and Impact Officer, I work with founders, CEOs and leadership teams who are scaling something real and feeling the weight of it. Not just the business pressure. The personal pressure. The gap between how things look from the outside and how they actually feel on the inside. That gap is where I work.

The world doesn’t need more businesses.
It needs better businesses.
Businesses that solve real problems.
Businesses that create value without leaving people behind.
Businesses that are commercially disciplined, strategically aligned, and led with conscience.
Because when the right business grows well, the impact ripples outward - through teams, families, communities, investors, and the future it helps shape.
That’s why Ikigai Impact exists.
Why Ikigai Impact exists
I started Ikigai Impact because I believe business can be one of the most powerful forces for good, but only when it is led with clarity, maturity, and intention.
Too many leaders are carrying the weight of businesses that have outgrown the systems, rhythms, and leadership habits that got them here.
From the outside, things may look successful. Inside, it can feel messy: cash flow pressure, team misalignment, founder dependency, unclear priorities, and the quiet fear that growth is starting to cost too much.
My work is about helping leaders build businesses that perform well, scale sustainably, and remain worth giving their lives to.

What I believe about modern growth:
Purpose and profit are not opposites.
The strongest businesses know how to create both.
Clarity is a growth strategy.
When leaders and teams know what matters most, execution gets faster, calmer, and more consistent.
Impact is not an afterthought.
When it is embedded in how a business operates, impact builds trust, attracts great people, and supports long-term value creation.
Leadership growth drives business growth.
As leaders become clearer, more grounded, and more effective, their businesses tend to follow.
I’ve sat in the seat. That’s why I do this work.
20+ years across strategy, scaling, investment, and governance
I’ve worked with businesses from the boardroom to the operating floor, helping leaders navigate growth, complexity, and change.
The thread through all of it has been simple: helping people find clarity, act with intention, and build businesses that grow without losing what matters most.

Why I chose the name
Ikigai Impact?
Ikigai is not about neat answers.
It is about building a life, and a business, that feels worth living.
In its deeper sense, ikigai can be found in the people, practices, and moments that bring meaning, aliveness, and direction to life.
That is what drew me to the name.
Because I believe the best businesses are not built on growth alone. They are built when people are clear on what matters, connected to the work they are doing, and able to grow in a way that is sustainable - commercially, operationally, and personally.
For me, Ikigai Impact is about helping leaders build businesses that perform well and still feel worth giving their energy to.
Not just more successful on paper.
More aligned. More alive. More meaningful in practice.
Impact is the effect we have.
Ikigai is what keeps that work alive.
Scaling Up with Ikigai Impact
Business growth. Real alignment. Human sustainability.

Why I Coach
I was winning at work and losing at everything that actually mattered.
There was a period in my life when, by any external measure, I was doing well.
Senior role. Impressive firm. The kind of career that looks right on paper and at dinner parties.
My eldest son was 11 months old. And my marriage was quietly falling apart. Because I was falling apart.
Not dramatically. Not with a single moment I could point to. Just slowly, the way things unravel when you're never truly present. When every emergency is a work emergency. When the person who needs you most keeps getting the leftover version of you.
I remember the moment it landed: if this is what success looks like, something is deeply wrong.
So I stopped. Stepped away from corporate life for two and a half years. Tried to learn how to be a dad. Tried to figure out who I actually was outside of a title and a revenue target.
It wasn't graceful. It wasn't a clean pivot with a plan. It was just a man realising he'd been optimising for the wrong things.
That's where Ikigai Impact came from. Not from a business plan. From a breaking point.
During those years, I immersed myself in something unexpected: understanding how human beings actually work. How trust is built. How emotional safety shapes performance. How the same principles that strengthen families also build high-performing teams.
And when I began working with founders and CEOs, I saw the same pattern, again and again.
The business problems and the personal problems are always the same problem. The founder who can't delegate isn't just missing a system.
The CEO whose strategy isn't landing isn't just missing alignment. The leader whose margins are thinning isn't just facing a financial challenge.
They're tired. And tired people can't lead clearly.
This is why I take a whole-of-leader approach. I work at the business level and the human level at the same time, because misalignment in the founder eventually shows up in the P&L.
I do this work because I've been that person. And I know what it takes to find the way through.
"Business growth starts within. When leaders grow, their companies thrive."
